We shall overcome by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony!

Revelation 12:11-12 (KJV) ¹¹ And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. ¹² Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

Are you finding your strength in yourself and your own ability’s to make it through this life’s toils and snares? Let’s face it this world we live in is far from perfect there is so much pain and suffering in the world today and it tends to drag us down, by the end of the week most people want to escape to some place and just turn the would off for a while. Some folks turn to drugs or alcohol, getting numb is what they seek comfort in, others turn to sports. Some folks turn to false idols and try to become more spiritual, for some its lust others its greed or hatred but in the end they are all left with an empty feeling, a hole that just can’t be filled with anything that is from this world.

The only way to truly overcome this life’s worries & fears is to place ones faith in the one and only true living God who overcame sin on the cross and rose victoriously over death three days after he was buried. He paid our sin debt in full on Calvary’s tree and he offers salvation to whosoever will call on his name. Peace can be yours today my friend if you will only humble yourself, admit that you are not in control of anything and place your faith in Christ and him alone for forgiveness of your sins. If this week hasn’t woken you up yet let me shake you up a bit with the truth. Look at any moment we can be standing somewhere and the next thing you know BOOM some evil person lets off a bomb and you are blown to pieces, would you wake up in heaven? The bible tells us that life is but a vapor which appears for a few seconds and then vanishes away, don’t spend your life trying to get numb and forget about your week, start living today trust in Jesus and let your life truly begin! Amen!

John 1:12-14 (KJV) ¹² But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: ¹³ Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. ¹⁴ And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
